hey, thanks for leaving a comment on my 'Escape to You' pixeled keyhole piece. my description actually says something about my inspiration, if you caught it. if you missed it.....

what inspired me is actually a WHO. my best friend Mer, known on DA as , inspires just about everything i do, one way or another. this particular piece was inspired by her 100%. shes my escape and the one i escape too at the same time. its like that feeling when everything feels like its going wrong and theres no way out, but then you can run away to someone who loves you and makes you feel safe and alive, and everything is brighter and more hopeful and all you can feel is loved. so its like running away from the whole world to a more intimate world where its only me and my best friend and no one else, and i know that im the only one who has the key to it and my best friend is the only one behind the wall. its just feeling like theres somewhere i can be loved unconditionally, no matter what. so yea, that was the inspiration.
